That's why it is essential to fully understand your REASON for wanting to become a home based business entrepreneur. If your reasons why are not significant enough, or clear enough, you'll quit when you hit a sizable obstacle.
That's why a vague motive like; 'To make more money' simply isn't good enough.
Why? Two key reasons.
The first reason is because 'Making more money' is nowhere near a clear enough target for you to really succeed as a home based business entrepreneur.. What do you want that money for? Your kid's college tuition next year? A medical operation for your spouse? How much money? How soon? These additional elements multiply the strength of your commitment t! o succeed in your home based business so dig deep and stack yo! ur core reasons high.
Secondly, it's because a statement of, 'Making more money' is not a mission that is bigger than yourself. Money for a new wardrobe or TV does not offer nearly the power that something like: 'Make enough money to send my kid to Harvard to earn a medical degree' does; or, 'To generate a $100,000 ongoing income so I can focus on doing charity work for abused animals - or kids - or women'.
By digging deep to discover a big reason to add value to others, a reason that's larger than yourself, is a great way to tap into enormous power for motivation and inspiration.
The important thing is that reason must be your own and it must be important enough to you that you'll stick with your decision long after the initial spark of inspiration fades.
You job at this time is to start the process of getting that holographic/360 degree 'vision' of your big reason why you must be a home based business entrepreneur.
This is accomplished by ! investing quality time in a simple self examination process which involves asking yourself a series of quality questions. The purpose of these questions is to peal back the superficial layers of your apparent reason why and really get to the power found at the 'heart of the matter'.
The kind of quality questions you might start asking yourself involve your personal values.

What is really important to me in life? (freedom?, contribution?, education, children, the environment, the gift of good health, Etc)

What about that is so important to me?

What else is really important to me?

What's so important about that?
I believe it is better to focus on what you want to achieve with your work from home business - rather than what you're trying to avoid.
Example: 'What is important to me is that I never have to depend on my spouse for money.' That statement has a negative undercurrent. Restructuring that desired outco! me into positive terms might look like: "I want to use my home! based b usiness to generate true financial independence for me and my children".
Continue to ask questions like these. Drill down, up, sideways - strive to achieve a 360 degree perspective. This process can do wonders to crystallize your reasons why being a home business owner is something you really want to do.
That will form your Foundation, and in doing so offer a wellspring of power that will serve you well. So invest some time and thought in this process because your success as a home based business entrepreneur depends on it.
