Gratitude for a Life by Design
Gratitude at this time of the year (November) is something that is usual for Americans to ponder on, however, why not be in this feeling of gratitude on a daily basis? I have learned that feeling grateful for EVERYTHING that happens in my life is KEY to being HAPPY and JOYFUL NOW. When I appreciate and focus on the good things that have happened in my life, synchronistic events happen and I am able to CO-CREATE with the Universe.
I am so happy and grateful that I live in the most beautiful place in the world, Honolulu, Hawaii. Because I am the CEO of my home-based business and I have resigned from my JOB over 2 years ago, I am able to create and design my life. After celebrating Thanksgiving with my in-laws, my husband, my dog, and I were fortunate enough to go camping and fishing for 3 nights & 4 days in a totally private and secluded beach! The best part was not having to report to WORK on Monday morning! I started my Monday morning by taking care of my family firs! t, and then reporting to my computer and business at HOME!
I am so glad that my friend introduced me to this amazing business opportunity which has totally transformed my life into something much more wonderful than where I was before. I had been living at home with my parents after returning from teaching English in Japan for 2 years. I was working full-time teaching English as a Second Language in an all-girls Catholic school for almost 5 years with a salary that was lower than what brand new teachers make at a public school. I had designed and developed the ESL program for the high school and felt as if I was being overworked and underpaid. I used to stress out often, especially during report card & exam time, but also because I worked with growing teenagers who basically looked to me as Mom because their own families were living in another country. I love children and teaching, but the stress was taking it's toll on my health and well-being. I was overweight, ha! d high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, sore knees,! and had no energy to do the things I love after a hard day's work. I finally made the decision to resign from my position at that school and left to pursue my own dreams and vision of a better life for me and my family after only 9 months of starting my business.
I've been creating my life by design and loving every minute of it! I now live in my own 3BR penthouse condominium in Honolulu and have gotten out of paying rent to someone else. We just got back from our long-awaited honeymoon in Machu Picchu, Peru. I've traveled to many places within the last several years because of our home-based business. I've taken advantage of the tax savings that comes with owning my own home-based business. My health has improved greatly and my weight and my blood pressure has gone down without medications. My knees feel great and I have more energy to do things that I love, for example, swimming, hiking, and body boarding! I am also working on lowering my cholesterol and my blood sugar le! vels, and am continuing to work on being at my perfect weight! Best of all, I am surrounded by successful people in this business and in this BraveHeart Women Global Community! This has allowed me to start growing into my Highest Potential of becoming a women of success who will then go on to inspire and assist many others in this world through the Art of Network Marketing!
Much gratitude goes out to my friend, Henny Kang, who believed in me and brought this amazing, life-changing company into my life at the right time. She also was the one who introduced me to my loving husband, Dean. Thank you, my friend, for being the catalyst of my success!
I am also very fortunate to have a mentor/coach who has taken on the responsibility of guiding me and my team in our businesses. Kellie Hosaka, has taught me to work on myself and to be accountable. I feel so grateful that she believes in me and that I know I can turn to her when I have questions or situations that are ! challenging to me. Thank you, Kellie, for being an inspiration! to me a nd for being so patient with me, especially when I was not seeing eye-to-eye with you. I have come to realize that it's all about PERCEPTION and how I am viewing my world. It's amazing how my perception has changed over the past 2 years!
I am so thankful that my husband is so supportive of me and our businesses! I am so happy that we are choosing to grow together in this journey of personal development and networking. With our combined experiences & individual strengths, we are able to work together as a team. Life at home is great because he is so understanding and helpful.
